I know it is a stupid question. BUT I had just gotten it fixed the other day. Our electicity was knocked out and we currently have no phone, and I think my dad said someone was comming on monday to check our phone out.
I do have the wireless in my computer, but I just cant. Is the wireless somehow compromised because of my phone? I think it is, I just want to make sure. |

If you are using DSL and a DSL modem for the wireless to connect to in your home - then that does use the phone lines.
If you are in an apartment or city you might be able to connect to a "Hot spot" either a neighbors wireless or a business that has access spots for those using laptops. Some cities and communities are trying local set up Hot spots all over the town.
