Yea I'm planning on doing that, I honestly don't think a Chromebook was a wise decision for me to get simply because it seems to be super limited as it is a OS based off of a browser (a browser that I honestly hate). Most net books don't have a cd/dvd drive but USB slots they generally do have.

I've found some computers act better with some versions so you may have to try a few to find a good fit

You would need a USB drive with the Fedora on it or any other Linux distro.
