Wow thanks for telling us about F.lux, it is nice!!
Bright glare /screens bother my eyes too. I'm going to place a copy of this thread to the Computer forum, so more might see it. Here is the F.lux website , you can download from it and avoid cnet's added stuff they have with their downloads now..  http://justgetflux.com/
