I know we talked about this before but couldn't find the thread when I did a search.

How do I darken the content....some posts are so light I have trouble reading them. I do remember that you hold down some key???

Are you using a laptop or a desktop with separate monitor?

There is a sun burst on the key you use if a laptop. (each brand has a slightly different keyboard I think).
If you click "help" at the top of your window, and type in "adjust brightness" they will tell you which keys to hit.

If you have a separate monitor, the adjustments are usual on it and not the keyboard.

Are you using the default white and blue skin here? There is another called Spring, which is buff and cream and light gray green. You find the skins at the far lower left of the window.

I use the Spring because of my eyes too. It is very easy to read.

I use the desert sand theme/skin/style here for NT..


[Can I change the way the board looks?

You may be able to change the styling of the board by using the style changer in the bottom left of the page. This lets you choose different skins which change the color scheme and appearance of the board. If this option does not appear, the board cannot be restyled.]

You can click the various one in the drop down to try them out, if you like one , you may need to go to your control panel to set it for your default choice.

Otherwise when you log in again it may revert back to the previous style.

Thank you both. I changed to Desert Sand and that helps a lot! It's my H's laptop so I hesitate to change much of anything but don't think he'll notice this.

If you only change the skin here, it won't change any other settings on any other sites on the net. It will only appear here.
