Right click on your desktop screen.
Go to Screen Resolution Change the appearance of your Display [p.s. I'm not using 8, but I figure it'll be the same as on mine, not sure] |

Is it affecting the computer screen on everything, or only webpages?
If webpages only it would be a browser setting..

Okay, I had to reset the computer. Something had happened and I had
a blank, black screen. Now the sizes are correct also. Thanks to you both though. Donna ![]() ![]() |

Hi Donna,
I wrote a long msg but deleted it. It appears that Windows 8.1 is totally different from my computer and therefore the information was useless. ![]() Try reading this... http://windows.microsoft.com/en-US/w...r-smaller/?v=t Windows 8.1 How To. I find the default settings for text are usually too small, so I keep it set at 125% rather than their default setting of 100%. It can go up to 150% on Win 8 it says there. That may be too big. You'd need to check. http://windows.microsoft.com/en-AU/w...isplay-monitor Get the Best Display on your Monitor Last edited by Lara; 06-25-2014 at 04:03 PM. |

Thanks lara.
I will look at these. I had a co-worker tell me what to try also. And it just worked. I have a new problem now. Hopefully she can figure it out tomorrow. Donna ![]() ![]() |

Donna,
I have 8 also (on my lap top for work). It is not logical but I am getting used to it. Good luck with it. M |
