Question Updating firefox
On a Mac

I'm wondering why I can't update Firefox to 40.
It says I'm up to date with 38.0.1. "Firefox is up to date"

This site seems to let you download Firefox V40.0.2 for a Mac; http://filehippo.com/mac/download_firefox_mac/ .

Yay! That worked.

I have no idea what was going on. The automatic update didn't work and I tried a few days ago and again today from the Mozilla site and it wouldn't update.

Now all up to date. So now it's 40.0.2
