the picture has to be small. 80x80 pixels.

can you post it here and let me check the size?

or if you right click the picture..then click properties it will tell you the size.

i can help shrink most pictures.

I must have totally done something wrong - when I try to look at the saved file on my computer - it is blank. I do have another one that seems to have worked and it is an explorer file - maybe I should try it?

when i change my avatar it will often say it's not saved but then I go check on one of my posts and the new one is showing.. I don't know why..

So if you get a message saying it's not saved or loaded - go check one of your posts to see if it really is or not.
