Have you run a defrag. recently?
Another thing that might help is reviewing (and possibly shutting down non-essential things) running in the task bar.

It might be partially the Norton package?? - I've read that it can be a heavy drain on the system.
I haven't tried any Norton AV programs for that reason. http://reviews.cnet.com/internet-sec...-32330411.html I'm assuming your using Windows?? - and do you know your CPU speed and Ram/memory amounts? here's our useful sticky thread post #2 has some really good tips and suggestions. http://neurotalk.psychcentral.com/thread4535.html and http://neurotalk.psychcentral.com/thread26151.html reviews- http://internet-security-suite-revie...enreviews.com/ Do you know how to check what services are running? usually CTRL/ALT/DEL will bring up the Windows Task Manager
