lol...our front desk check in uses a finger print scanner. we don't use membership cards. i'll call out tech support to see if that can also be used.

the employees have to log in to the softwares time clock.

they are SUPPOSED to log in and out if they are behind the front desk. it doen't log them out of the time clock, just their access to checking people. employees have different levels of security.

they thing is, they have gotten lazy about that. especially hubby.

if we can't use the one we have, i'll tell him about biotech.

we don't really have any techy employees. one reason why the computer got so messed up.

not only the microwave plugged into the same circiut ( previously he fried 2. he had them plugged into the same outlet!) but hubby clicked ona pop up he said was from microsoft/windows telling he had to SCAN RIGHT NOW FOR A VIRUS. yup. he did. even paid for the software to remove said virus.

if the club could be run without a computer......or hubby touchig it, that would be a good thing.

thanks moi.

I am also guessing someone was surfing some sites and got the virus or the virus was a fake and actually wanted your hubby to buy an actual virus.

Employee these days seem to abuse the computers and they do a lot of P2P stuff...

limewire is notorious for that and backdoor hacking. I would check to see if there are any P2P stuff on the computer that might be affecting it.

Does the computer have to be networked? It might be good if you don't hook up to any internet and just intranet. That way, they can't get on line and can only play solitare...

the finger print you guys use currently I think I know what it is and it should help. I think it is the settings that can be tweaked.

try to run a HIJACKTHIS from trendmicro and save a log file if you want.

I can help you detect mal-ware on it if you send me the log file (that's if you want me to. LOL)

you're welcome, the least I can do for all you do for others...
