If you can't get back to safe mode

try hitting F12 (after you've done the soft reset)

change the order to "booting from CD" (as the TOP of the priority)

turn off the PC

then try booting from McAfee CD as Bobbi suggested.

good luck!

(came back to add that on some computer, the boot key could be F10, I really wish MS would make everything uniformed...)
