if you don't have a staples close, be sure to check if your local schools take them. most are set up on a program where they earn money for each cartridge.
we have a refill store close. that helps. only a few bucks. i tried to do that myself, but with the 5 in one machine i have now, it didn't work out well. my old little ink jet it worked fine. GO GREEN!! hehe
