My son is here today, helping me photograph some of my work, and help us with computer stuff.
He downloaded a program called Audacity 1.3 Beta, to convert my DVD to sound only. He says as long as it is for private use (and not distributed) it is okay. (so I won't be guilty?) I did buy the DVD, so I really didn't "steal" anything. It converted the 3 songs I wanted easily and they exported to Windows media play easily. We had to do some fiddling with changing the titles to be more accurate, but it went very well. I am so pleased. This one cut is so superior to the Pure album, the tinny irritating quality from the Pure album is not there at all..and I have Sophie, her beautifully talented sister doing the harmony. He says this program will record anything that goes from your sound card to the speakers! I suppose this could be abused by some people, but it might be handy for live CE's on the net for me professionally etc.

update on DVD music...
