Linda
if the pictures in your emails are attachments, you click on the lil paper clip on the right top of the open email and a box will come up where you will click "save attachments" and then save them into your Pictures folder in your Documents

if the pics in your email are simply inserts in the emails (ie not attachments) then you just right click on your mouse and then click the "save as" that comes up in the lil box and again save them to your Pictures folder

right clicking on your other stored photos on Picassa should again give you the "save as " option..............

clear as mud??????

right clicking on a picture or graffic will give you this box:

click on the "Save As" to find the folder you want to save the picture in. i use folders set up in My Pictures.

on mine the pop up reads a little bit different.

right click on picture pop up says-
view image
copy image
copy image location
save image
send image as

and a couple other options - on your computer screen it may be worded a little different also.

my picasa must be set up different - cause all my photos stay in the my pictures section of my documents and the picasa just finds them when I open it to do any editing or adjusting of them.
But it is acting odd lately finds the pictures but they don't open/show- so I may have to reinstall it.

Linda, it is so easy, someday you will wonder why you thought it was so hard. Take a look at how curious explained it to me. I personally save all mine to MY Pictures. You know how we hightlight things to copy, well you do that. Then when you get there right chick again to paste and the words will come up, then it is on the forum when you are finished.
Good luck,
Billie

I do the same thing on out look express. I "Copy" by hightlighting them. I'll do one for you.

You guys are SO great!! You don't know how much I appreciate all the help!! I feel so stupid that I can't figure these things out by myself but it's so nice to have friends like you who are willing to help.
I just spent the day wrapping presents and my mind is gone tonight but tomorrow, I am going to go through and go by your directions and see if I can do this!!

THANK YOU ALL WHO HELPED ME,
Linda

Question Now What?

OK, first I want to say I did what you said and I finally got my pictures out of my email and into a folder in my documents like I wanted. Thank you for that.
BUT, I have tried what Curious said about right clicking on the bottom one and then right clicking and pasting in my replies and nothing happens, also I did like FancyLady said by copy and pasting them and still nothing. What the heck am I doing wrong? I just can't figure it out. Any ideas?
Thanks for all the help,
Linda
