Default Help with installing IE8

Hi Guys!!!

I usually use Mozilla firefox as my browser.

Alan asked me to install Internet Explorer (seems it's required for one of his program things).

I just went to the Microsoft IE8 website, downloaded it, I tried to launch it and it told me "This is from an unverified publisher, with a not recognized digital signature (or something to that effect).

Then it prompted me to use an application to launch it.

I selected choose and it took me to MY DOCUMENTS FOLDER.

I am a bit confused here.

What steps do I need to take to install IE8??

Thanks much

Melody
