Dear Yawz, I'm so sorry to hear about your mother. I lost my Great Aunt to Alzheimers last November. It's still difficult to deal with but I cry less and less as time goes on. I don't see anything wrong with women or men crying. I don't think you should be embarrassed of it either. Everyone grieves in their own way. My husband doesn't show his feelings too often, but there have been times when he has. Those times were when his father passed away, and when our dog and cats passed away. So if I were you, I would cry when you feel you need to to help you deal with your mother being ill. It is part of the grieving process and will eventually help you to deal with her illness. I thinks it's really nice that you care so much about your parents. You sound like a very special person. Take care. My thoughts and prayers are with you. Sincerely, Renee.
