Heart

Yeah, ((((((Shell))))))

It does get 'easier'; but, that takes a lot of time.

I always have 'trouble' with this time of year. My Dad's birthday was on June 20th and then Father's Day. My Dad's been gone almost 30 years now. But, still there's the dull ache sometimes. Especially this month -- with all the ads and the jealousy seeing girls with their Fathers.

What Abbie said is true. Talking about him, writing about him does help. It strengthens the memories. The memories are the heart-connection that keeps us 'sane' when we lose loved ones.

I always believed that writing memories in a blank book helps a lot. All the laughter and the love and sharing that you remember -- all in one place. Comments from other people that knew him in a different way. Pictures, too. A wonderful way to remember how blessed you were.

Hugs. (We don't have to give up the love )
