Heart Christmas Time

An older poem of mine, but I guess it's that time of year to share it again!

Christmas Time

I know you've been busy,
Yes, I have been busy too,
But you're still on my mind,
I haven't forgotten friends like you!

It's been a hectic year,
And time has just slipped away,
There's never enough time,
For what we really want to say.

No time to stop and think,
No time to chat to our friends,
But in the back of our minds,
We know the friendship never ends!

Now it's time to wish you,
All the usual Christmas cheer,
And also to wish you,
All the best for the New Year!
