Justice,

we had a thread here before about the fact that people do read and appreciate but many dont respond, not because they dont recognise the talent displayed here, or because they dont value what is written. Many who read here are also guests who cant post replies.

We all post to message boards of our own free will, and we should not chide others when they dont reply. We dont know their hearts and cant assume motives.

Sharing your poetry is something your should do for your creative outlet, and rest in the knowledge that it is touching other people, even if they dont tell you.

ummm yeah that other thread...why post and share if no one replies ...was me.... back a few pages on the some of my work thread I have here... we have more in common then I thought Justice. for some it is just easy as pie... but for others it is like standing naked in the room with everyone walking threw staring at ya... it is like sharing your blood and soul. poetry books arent that big on the to buy or must buy list last time I checked. I share because i am trying to overcome not sharing. back in 2002 my pain poems were taken for court it is now 2007 the 5 year limitation has run out and I still do not have my pain poem note books back. I was in crash with a semi trailer truck in "99. and had to go threw trial by jury just to get any compensation. all that will change in oct as florida will be getting rid of this no fault crap. ha that dude would be paying big time if it was like that 1999! No fault .... Cant wait for it to be gone!
do remeber this Justice your words are read and they do inspire and help... but I join you in your exellent point of view... people just seem to feed on it without any words back or replies at all, and that makes one feel ... so lets go crash all their houses and raid their fridges and leave silently.... or take their car for a joy ride and not return it. maybe theyd think diffrent or at least see it from another point of view?
wanted to ask you Jusice ... since I have been reading your other thread ... Do you not feel God with you when you write?

Take my birthday,and ignore what I have to say.
But don't rip my heart out and throw it on the floor.
We all have our own ways of expressing ourselves.
Some of us are just ripples,some are a big waves.
But believe we all have something to say.

You may not approve of what is said at times.
But try to remember,we all have hard lives.
And some can express them better in rhymes.
But to take our feelings and crush them like bugs.
Is like taking back all of those hugs!

Will you punish us all,so we cannot see.
The pain and anguish that are friends have.
And the way they try to help us to see.

nice . love the words lots lots. but really I lashed out in the wrong way used the wrong words and didnt heed warnings ..it was all my doing. none the less when I feel like sharing my poems here I can copy and paste them from my words program as all my work is on there. right now I am having a tough time with a whole bunch of stuff so sharing isnt on my list a.t.m. but so comforting to know I got pals and they are on my side. so are the admins and mods here . BMW needs over haul. andBMW is sorry. so you and anyone else out there be a Peace maker.

Well,we all have our day's,and in the Constitution we also have the right to our own opinion! But I do wish I would have seen what you wrote,that would have made my day!
And if friends can't stick up for eachother,what are friends made for?! It was my pleasure,whether the mods are here or not!

OK you two --BMW and Justice-- I for one enjoy reading your poems, some more than others. But I do not have your GIFT for words and it is very hard for me to express myself, so I usually do not post anything. Some times it just seem that a thanks should be put on a poem and other times the poem is just to personal and does not relate to me at all. Does not mean I did not enjoy reading the words and thinking about how you felt when writing them. Any way keep writing them and hope you are able to do your writing from SD Justice. Carose

Don't worry,I can write no matter where I am,unless I'm dead ofcourse!
I even wrote a poem one time,at 3 AM on a morphine pump,in the hospital,after having surgery! The nurses were kindof tripping out when I asked for a pencil and paper at 3 am,and they asked if something was wrong,and I just told them,no,I just feel like writing a poem! They just laughed and walked out and got my paper and pencil for me! Here's that drug induced poem....
"Give it Up"
You think you know me.
But you don't know jack.

But you don't do that.

But you've been everywhere.
You say you love me.
But you can't even see.

The pain you've put me through.
That's the only thing you do.
I think you use me.
But you don't take no crap.

Even though you are to blame.

You'll take me to the sea.
And then propose to me.

But you're always just the same.

So how was that for a hospitalized 3 in the morning on a morphine pump poem! I don't know what I was thinking!
