The Nerves

The nerves,
The vital part,
Of the body,
Right from the start.
The nerves,
Feeding the brain,
Sensitive,
To all the pain.
The nerves,
The spine connects,
Communication,
Serves and protects.
The nerves,
Messages move,
Through the body,
So much to prove.
The nerves,
Carry so much,
The whole system,
Sensitive touch.
The nerves,
Muscles and bone,
Flesh and blood,
Everything you own.
The nerves,
And so much more,
Your body proves,
What life is for…

Isn't that the truth! I know the nerves are there to serve and protect us, but there are times when I wish they came with an on/off switch.

Ah, yes, the nerves, great when they work properly, but not so great when they don't, as I should know! Wish my switch was working properly! lol
