In my Father`s house I hold Years of joy, through tears and pain, I learned to know the Cross He Bore His heart that bled in vain, His arms reached out to comfort me From fear of death He knew, I learned to understand the Love Of His faithful heart so true. In my Fathers house I hold In memory every prayer, The meaning of the truths you preached The Cross that was hallowed there, His voice I heard within my soul When His Love reached out to me, In my Father`s house I live and know, God`s Love that was meant to be. Struggles
I have had many struggles in my life Some distant now, some still exist Many times I have fallen down Each time I've grown stronger Everyday it's something new Try to find balance Try to find peace Letting go of anger Dealing with Misery Outstretched Hands Lift me up Many souls help me to not give up Take each day in stride, just to survive It's never easy, but always worthwile My struggles are Many, this is true Out of the ashes, something beautiful grew! :grouphug: TAG: HOPE |
Last Summer
Last summer I lost a piece of myself that will never return the same. That's OK. I gained something more beautiful in it's place. Kind of like Nature's Warm Loving Embrace. Sometimes I miss the thee that was me; But I realize She was Missing something Too. Am I better off for it???? You'd better bet you I AM!!! Roses are red; They smell Red and Blue... but they didn't know sometimes I felt a strange then it started to flow I felt my arm move soon it was still what just happened it gave me chills went to bed fell fast asleep then sat up straight clutching my sheet often I'd shake but know not why they wanted to help I bet they'd cry don't drive a car can't get a job I feel alone then start to sob but this is my life it's better than some I'm welcome here thats why I come some say we're diferent but it's not really true It's a family here both me and you all I can say is there's no finish line it will be back it's only time tag>> telephone |
