For this forum, tag works as such....


One person writes a poem that is mentioned TAG. It's an 'on-the-spot' poem. Then once finished, come up with a new TAG.

If you notice, Frank tagged Milkshakes, I wrote a poem for Milkshakes and have left a tag for Thunderstorms.

lightening splits the darken sky
brillant lights hit your eye

gentle rains begin to caress the earth
a needed requirment for what its worth

a muffled rumble still far away
now the trees begin to sway

brighter the flashes cut across the clouds
mesmorized and excited you shout out loud

its going to be a another big storm,
for some of us its a norm

as it gets closer you sit in wonder
another flash now you feel the thunder

When I see it snow
I just want to go.
I dislike it so.
Snow shovels, snow tires
Snow boots ice caked wires.
I will take the summer heat,
and munch a snow cone for a treat.

Once unpon a time in a quaint distant town,
the old candy maker shared a message all around.
Because he knew Jesus Christ in such a loving way
his goal was making candy in the shape of a "J".
Using Sweet White candy showing Purity without sin,
the now famous Candy Cane was about to begin.
He added 3 thin red stripes to show off the Trinity,
and smiled when a shepherd`s staff he could he could also see.

To show that Jesus shed his blood for he
loved us all so much,
One big red wide stripe was added as the finishing.
With every Christmas Carol and with every candy cane,
he wanted to be HOLD THE LORD AND PRAISE HISHOLY NAME.

Expressed so well, so long ago by the candy maker,
the love of the LORD is for every willingtaker.
In this CHRISTMAS SEASON when you see a CANDY CANE,
know there is a reason why the baby Christ Child came,
" O COME ALL YE FAITHFUL"- LET EVERYBODY SING,
Lets celebrate this season, In HONOR OF THE KING...

FALL IS IT---BMW
Oh so satisfying is the season of fall,
October is the best month of all.
My tan is top notch after weeks of sun.
The leaves brilliant with colorful fun,
Pumpkins , apples and trick or treat,
A flow of whimsical characters to meet,
Bikers invade; baseball is in full swing,
The cooler air welcomes open windows again.
Frisky spunk spreads like a woven tapestry,
Laughter and easy going moods set free.
My birthday begins a month long celebration,
Filled to the seams with autumn infestation.
