This isn't very poetic -- just some random thoughts that came bubbling to the surface at the prospect of a road trip.

Cram my scuffed Samsonite into the old gas-guzzler.
Glance intrepidly at same-same in rear-view.
Venture into unfamiliar territory on journey of discovery.
Heightened sense of awareness: Wonder how that got there?
Chin-wag with waitress in greasy spoon.
Toss map, ignore directions:
Get lost to find myself.

i liked it almost had a country song twang to it

rain puddles as it hits the ground
still mist soft rain without a sound

cool tag you are it rain on a hot summer day
raining so hard you had to say

looks like its raining cats and dogs
some rains help you sleep like a log

the rains of spring bring scented flowers
those brillant rainbows after april showers

those hard annoying rains may be the worse
having no rain at all would be a curse

ok next tag peace

and I believe the tag groups is slowly growing

memories of my child hood so vivid so gay
bright sunshine big snow storms so different then today

sledding till we coulndt feel our hands and feet
gloves were uselessly wet and so was our seat

barefoot running those damn thistle weeds owe
climbing the barbed wire fence to chase the cows

climbing trees till the branch swayed
swimming hole leisures on a hotsummer day

memories of laughs smiles and yes tears

VACATION
I want a vacation where no men are!
where the sun is soothing warm,
and magically the food appears.
