There~s an image

in my mind,

something beautiful

I keeep seeing,

it`s you becoming

everything you ever

dreamed of being.

You just put a foot

before you,

on the path you

thought of taking

and on the way ahead,

you found the light

of a dream in the making.

Sure a little rain fell

to darken the hour,

but you kept your eyes ahed

and drew on the power

you found within yourself

and in the image you kept seeing

of becoming everything (singer)

you ever dreamed of being.
