This really does not sound like poem to me, but ill let you all tell me if it does.


S ummer is wearing a bathing suit

U nder the sunny sky:

Looks like a free play hummmm. Is Lor gonna come back with a Tag for us??
Dose anyone want to try doing line by line or ...maybe one time, a few of us or all of us do the same tag topic? would be neat to see how each of us run with the same tag. ???

I'm sorry I forgot to put a Tag. Since Jamie put "brave" I'll do that one then put another.


I tried it before
but I wasn't too brave
all my friends begged me
to walk in the cave

It was dark in there
and kinda damp
I just knew we shoulda brought
a kerosene lamp

We walked around
and felt stalagmites
then I banged my head
on a stalacmite

This is not tag, sorry. i just wanted you all to see it.


ODE TO KIT-KAT


In Attleboro she was found

On the steps of the YWCA

She was half starved, and oh so week

She has no strength to play.



Just a little tiny kitten

With eyes so big and green

So very shy and loving, and I thought

How could people be so mean.



I call her Kit-Kat, and she knows

When i am going away.

And when I return she`s waiting

For she had a lonely day.



Now when i go to feed her

I have to walk her to her dish

Sometimes her nose turns up as if she knows

It`s not her favorite kind of fish.


At night she roams around the yard

And then I hear a knocking at my door,

Who can that be-and then i know

It`s my Kit-kat evermore.
