I wrote this when I felt alone a lot. Like now. I am thankful to know the Lord is with me, always.


..You Never Have to Walk Alone..
If you’re curled up in the dark
feeling as though you’ve lost your innocence
you are not alone

If you’re curled up in the dark
because you’ve lost a loved one
you are not alone

If you’re curled up in the dark
because there is nothing else you can do
your health has deteriorated
you are not alone

Hanging on the cross
Christ lost His innocence
as all our sins were placed on Him

Hanging on the cross
Christ watched as those He loved turned away

Hanging on the cross
Christ’s very breath was taken from Him

Christ hung on the cross
so you might know
you never have to be alone
if you choose to walk with Him.
