Thumbs up Tulip

TULIP SIGNIFICANCE

The Tulip is the flower chosen to represent
The disease known everywhere as Parkinson’s
The month of April usually showers us
With Tulip blossoms magnificence.

Lovely, pure, primary colors elegance
Velvet-smooth cups of grace – intense
Beside the house, and along the fence
Their beauty – glorious springtime evidence.

Solicitations are being made - to bring awareness
In search of donations and gifts of funds - generous
To combat and destroy this disease, horrendous.
Finding a cure is the all-important purpose.

We’re hoping that – just around the bend
Is the exciting, long-awaited announcement –
Soon, that, TULIPS IN APRIL will celebrate when
A cure at last has brought about PARKINSON’S END.
