Did you find anything out dllfo?
My Dad has Dementia and is in a nursing home now and the beginning symptoms are different for everyone but some are similar like checking a light switch several times to make sure it is off or checking locked doors for the same thing. My Dad would set his alarm clock on his days off so he could get the newspaper and get his coffee cup ready along with his donut and a banana. he would then go back to bed and get up later on. he felt an obsessive need to make sure everything was ready or he could not sleep. He also had insomnia issues lying in bed obsessively worrying about mundane things. He would often fear the natural gas pill on the side of the building blowing up or things like that. Now he can barely walk and can barely speak as the nerve disease progresses. It has taken 5 years to get to this point which is a fast progression for dementia. His doctor told me is surprised at how fast it is progressing in him. He is 81 years old though so old age isn't helping him much. I hope you get a grasp on what is bothering you seriously. Good luck and God bless. |
