I just joined. Found this group after searching online re root canal pain. Just had one root canal on a lower molar which is giving me much more pain than the two on the other side I had done in later Dec. 2013. I blame myself for not doing much more research but was thrown for a loop by a small city hospital clinic dentist baldly referring me to an oral surgeon to have ALL lower and upper molars removed!

Only 3 lower one had issues and just 2 upper, one of which is a wisdom tooth. In shock I looked online for holistic dentists in my state. Saw one in the largest city that I could get to OK. Read all his websites. Lots of holistic stuff but later it turns out he does none of it.
Saw him. He immediately said the infection needed immediate attention and he could do the root canals right then and there if I was available. Red flags should have gone up but pain clouded my judgement. Long story short. With this last of the 3 RC's I now have swelling going from soft and wide to smaller and firmer. Might go to a local dentist tomorrow to check for infection. But for the long term, after now having read all the very bad stuff about RC's, I'm looking for treatment for the RC's themselves. I came across Root Canal Calcification therapy. Seems like only in Calif is someone doing this kind of work?
Does anyone know anything about this as a form of post RC treatment?
