Default Tooth infection while pregnant

I had a root canal done on my canine about 2 years ago, it was a strange root canal for me as it never presented with extreme pain the way i have had it before. I just had a different sensation in the tooth and soreness in the gum. I became pregnant last year and right away started having soreness in the gum in that same area, I increased my flossing and mouth wash habits and the soreness went away. (I have had some sort of gum bleeding, soreness, and even pain in a root canal that we had xrayed to be sure was fine during previous pregnancies, it just seems to happen). However, unfortunately I miscarried. I am now pregnant again and went in for my 6 month cleaning to have my dentist discover i have a bubble above that canine. No pain again, but obviously theres something going on. I was referred to a endondontist who has made an appointment for me for June (which is after i am 15 weeks along can they said at that point I can have X-rays) but for now I am taking antibiotics to attempt to at-least calm down the infection.

I should mention I am also a heart patient, mitral valve regurgitation, tricuspid valve regurgitation, and aortic valve regurgitation, and a dilation in my aortic root, suspected to have a marfan/connective tissue type disease. Also, I had a gum surgery a few years ago, to fix some gum recession and it was awful for me to heal from, my surgeon said I was the only one he ever had that repeatedly kept bleeding, its like my gums just didn't heal well. He had to end up bringing me back in to add more stitches, my mouth would literally fill with blood. (so the idea that i may end up having to have an extraction, and implant is EXTREMELY daunting). But because of my heart I definitely didn't like the idea of a infection bubble.

Its now been 6 days since i started the antibiotic and i have seen no change in this bubble, does that mean it could be something else, something that would have to be biopsied?? Or do some infections just not respond?
