Default Failed Bone Graft

So I had tooth #3 removed from an infected root canal. Now I'm pretty sure in bone graft went wrong. A lot of the synthetic bone is falling out and I have a hole that goes pretty far back. I called my oral surgeon and he doesn't seem worried. I am really freaking out. I should not have a BIG whole in my jaw!!! I don't see him till next Thursday and I had it done last Thursday. Should I be worried what should I do? I called him twice about it and both times he said the same thing.
