I have these headaches especially this time of the month ( my period ) so they are not from the extraction , and the only thing is Excedrin what helps me. But it has aspirin in it, can I take it ?
I had my #5 tooth extracted yesterday morning, so it's been like 32 hrs ,the bleeding stopped after a couple of hours. |

nyuszisue,
Since you have not had any bleeding issues with this extraction, it is usually okay to take aspirin after 48 hrs post op. But take the lowest affective dose possible and if the extraction site should start to bleed, then place a wet tea bag over the site, gently bite down on it for 20 minutes and do not take anymore excedrin. I hope you feel better soon ![]() Bryanna Quote:
