Thank you so much Bryanna,
I looked at the links and they look very impressive. If I remember correctly I saw a DDS/MD nameplate on one of the doors in the same bldg as my dentist. Maybe something to look into also. I just have to get the courage now and try and find some hidden funds somewhere to see if financially I can afford this. Again thank you for your time and help. :-) Thomas |

Thomas,
Just make sure the dentist you see for the extraction is an oral surgeon, not a general dentist. Regarding the financial aspect .... there are few ways to approach that. 1) Ask for a senior courtesy. 2) Ask if there is a discount for paying with cash or a check. If you pay by credit card, the office is less likely to offer a discount because they pay a fee for each credit transaction. 3) Ask if they use a credit agency called Care Credit. This agency offers long term monthly payment arrangements with zero interest and no hidden fees to apply. The practitioner is charged a small fee for each patient transaction but it's worth it as they receive the money in full from the agency at the time the service is rendered. 4) Give the office your current medical insurance as you may be entitled to some reimbursement due to the fact that the tooth is impacted with probable pathology. The office should be able to help you with that. Please let us know how things go. I'm sure you will be fine Bryanna Quote:
