Hi Stacey,
Keep in mind that you could have been exposed to something awhile ago and may not have noticed the discoloration or the grey tone may just be surfacing now with a previous exposure. Your water could contain lead, silver and a sleu of other stuff that you are unaware of. It shouldn't be hard to have a water test done by your local health department if you were curious about it's content. Other things that contain silver salts that could turn any part of the body a grayish color are: Industrial exposure to lead or silver as in mining or refining. Metal alloy manufaturing, photographic processing, electroplating solutions. Cutting or polishing silver. Silverware that is sterling silver or silver plated rather than stainless. Metallic films on glassware and/or china. Others...... Some nose drops or nasal irrigation solutions. Some wound dressings. Some eye drops. Some toothpastes. There are so many sources and you may have or are exposing yourself to one or more of these without knowing it. Keep us posted! Bryanna Quote:

Stacey, I just read your post and I am anxious to hear how you went with this grey colour in your mouth. I have just taken my five year old son to the dentist, to be told he has a grey patch on the roof of his mouth. The dentist says she has never seen this before and to take my son to the doctor for a checkup. I have made an appointment but can't get in to see a doctor for another few days. Can you please let me know if you were able to get any answers as to what this grey color is. I am very worried about my little boy and my imagination is going crazy thinking about horrible scenarios. If anyone else has any suggestions, could they please help me. Many thanks...
