Default is it time to be put to the curb

46 no job bad head injury phone doesn't ring for days. used to ring a lot before I got sick. No job no money. I keep trying to find a reason. Impotent because of injury. Was about to start a family when I got head injury that's gone. Sometimes it's just time to take old useless worthless garbage out to the curb.but then who would feed the cat. I guess someone would. the world is for the healthy.trying to find something anything to cling to for the benefit of my nieces and nephews but I can't.

Hi,

Sorry to hear that you are having a rough time. I understand and I have a cat too. Don't know what I would do without her. She is an indoor cat and sometimes she sleeps and hides for hours. I can go into a bad panic if I can't find her.

I'm not sure what keeps us going. I do have two adult children and now a grandchild. They are wonderful. I have had several near-death experiences and always have wondered why didn't I just go then? It wasn't meant to be. Hang in there for your nieces and nephews. Hang in there for you. You deserve it. Take care of yourself and wishing you all the best!

I am very new here. But I have debilitating anxiety and am talking to a counselor about agoraphobia. Fear of leaving the house. I am not physically disabled but I have shut most people out and have a very hard time going anywhere. In a way I am relieved my car needs a new engine.
Even though the reasons are completely different. I am wasting my life away because of my own anxiety. So what do we do when everyone stops coming around... We must force our selves out there in a way and find or repaire friend ships and support groups. They tell me I am worth it. But it is much easier for me to see that you are so worth being here. Find a local group. **
I met a friend in my neighborhood online and she is very social. I am starting to like having here around because she comes over anyway and makes me interact with people she knows. And it is not so scary just going 2 miles down the road vs. all the way into town.

You are so worth it. You may not have "normal" any more but you have something. Use this forum too. Reach out to some one and have them come over and visit. Call some one if the phone wont ring.

Now go look in the mirror and tell your self you are worth it. Some times this helps me and I go put on some make up or blow dry my hair nice. And some times you have to fake it until you make it.

But you are always worth it.

Hang in there mark, do you have anything you like doing? Anything that picks you up?
