Default info on Cranial Stimulator

Thought this info might help some one... seems like a kind of new thing but some one else might have heard of this before.

How is this different from Electroconvulsive Therapy (ECT)??

I believe once you have it rx by a doc you bring the unit home and I would think it is more like a hybred tens unit or something like that. I know of someone who is in process of getting one and will be able to give more info soon. It is not being rx for depression but for head pain same cranial stimulator but for diffrent thing. if that makes any sense.

I never had ect so I cannot tell you how it is diffrent or alike. maybe less avasive then ect ?? I am not sure will try to find out.
I have a neuro stimulator aka P.E.N.S. implanted with leads in back of head and on right lower jaw for pain.So from that side I can see the relation and benefits that a stimulator might help someone else in some way.
I think if one wanted they could question someone at the link . And I will pass info as I come by it.
Peaceful New Year to us all.

well here is the update I have from a contact who got an rx for the Cranial stimulator it was for head/face pain that comes with anesthesia dolorosa a type of Trigeminal neuralgia. IT WAS NOT for depression .
They paid about 1000$ for the "unit" or cranial stimulator and after trying it for a bit over 2 weeks sadly there was no change in the degree or amount of pain my friend lives with every day.
She contacted the company and sent it back for refund.

I still know of 2 others who are going to try it ,
one for depression and the other for pain.
I will update when info comes along again.

PEACE
