Melody's hubby had low numbers like that.
It can mean the test was poorly done...not measured right. Or you have high insulin levels that just gobbled up the sugar. Only two readings cannot tell you anything except if you are seriously diabetic. here are some charts showing various types of results: http://lightning.prohosting.com/~hyp...20Hypoglycemia Hypoglycemia precedes diabetes by years. Often doctors are not trained to evaluate low numbers. They only respond to high ones. A fasting INSULIN level will tell more. If elevated, you are pre-diabetic.

Fast like for other tests, and just give a blood sample. Elevations show insulin resistance issues. Meaning your body needs more and more insulin to do its job. In the early stages this causes low blood sugar readings, and as it progresses, the system fails and diabetes results. It shows the tendency to have diabetes later (pre-diabetes) and when very very high indicates a tumor on the pancreas (but this is not common for most people)
