Garney-
How are you feeling today? I hope things are beginning to settle down for you and get easier. The med change road is not an easy one for sure, but eventually we all hope to find the "right cocktail" that works. I remember Dilantin, that was an experience in itself, I can't imagine combining it with anything else- eek!
You're in my thoughts. I agree with you. I am so glad that this place exists, it's solace to me. ((hugs)) and prayers to you all

Default Seizure increase

Julie,

I had 5 siezures yeterday afternoon. My daughter called 911. Given two injections of Valium at my house and one of Adavan on way to hosp because fourth seizure. Given another injection in Hosp. because of fifth seizure, then 500 mg Dilantin. They sent me home about four hrs. later. Saw my neuro today and have another med change. He added Lamictal and then Klonopin telling me I need to get enough sleep. Still taking Keppra and Dilantin also.
He is calling Dartmoth-Hitchcock for appiontment there. Trying to keep positive.

Awww Garney that just stinks. I'm so sorry for all the seizures. I'm glad your daughter was there for you.

Sending thoughts and prayers your way.
