Hi lilchrissy,

Welcome to the forum! What you are describing sounds a lot like aura (simple partial) sz. Years ago I started out by having migraine headaches and that in turn led to sz. for me. If I may ask do the sz. happen only when you wake up or go to sleep because if that's the only time this happens you may be having myoclonic sz. which happen at this time only.
My advice to you after the e.e.g. is done is to see an Epileptologist at an Epilepsy Center. You might want to start taking vitamin B12 1000 mcg. once a day this has greatly reduced my sz. Also cut back on the carbs and starch foods. Stress and lack of sleep are the 2 main things that can trigger sz. for a person. I wish you the best of luck and May God Bless You!

Sue
