I do see an epileptologist, hes also a neuro. But hes a ped dr because that's who I had to see while I was in my teens, he referred me to an adult epileptologist, and I know she will do better with treating me since im now an adult in my 20s and I think she will do a better job at trying to really pinpoint where my seizures are coming from instead of just throwing AED's at me and do more testing then what my current neuro has done, some of it is my fault because I refused a VEEG at a time that I knew it wasn't going to pick up anything after they loaded me with medication, but im now more open to having one done along with other testing, but it takes 3-6 months to get in to see her and I don't have the time to wait right now for my meds. I can atleast make the apt to see her while I get my meds figured out with my current ped neuro. I go to Hopkins, so it is a university of course, but politics aren't always so great there. But its the only big university around us that treats epilepsy paitents.
