You will need to discuss with your Doctor in regards with
this, or whoever obtained this information should have alerted your Neurologist / Epileptologist / Primary Care or Cardiologist (that is if you have one) about that. If they have NOT reported this and YOU KNOW such has happened and it was disclosed to you - then you should notify your Doctor's Office about this, providing the day when it happened and where, so they can retrieve the information and have it faxed to them so they can review it. I have a Cardiologist that monitors me and watches me like a hawk, and he's aware of all issues, so he gets alerted when something goes haywire, and it's not unusual when things go like this during a seizure - especially a status epilepticus (aka back-to-back seizures). I won't disclose my cardiac issues, because I don't want people to go around getting ideas that they've got it too, when I already have a long standing Med History Report to back it up. Hope this HELPS!

Hi. yep 12 years ago they called it mal de debarquement,
now i have gluten senstivety, so i thought oh gluten ataxia,(not celiac) now possible seizure, but dr thinks ms, so i'm sitting around waiting researching asking questions, to anyone who might have answers, yes i've been dx svt. yes i see aura and feel it too visual probs couldnt walk with out falling like on a rocking ship 24/7 so in another month or two i suppose i'll find out if i'm a nut or not. but for now i'll just try to stay calm. but after along time of researching to get the answers i need, (mostly by myself) i may add. it's hard to just leave it in the hands of the same people that have allowed me to go undiagnosed for 13 years now, if you know what i mean, just had a reaction to valium, or was it just ictil fear?? only god knows and if he was sitting here id ask him but he's not so its up to me. MRI on the 4th june , then off to a neuro after that , when they can fit me in for an eeg. sick of feeling like i'm learching from one crisis to the next. thanks so much jen Australia |

I see you're from Australia ... We call it S-Tach over here - I get those, a lot. Sinus Tachycardia ~ especially during a seizure when it really soars. It's when the HR - (Heart Rate) or Heart beats more than 100 beats per minute (BPM). I've had it anywhere from 140 - over 200 BPM. Sinus Tachycardia aka S-Tach This might help you understand it more, and googling it up more, may help you further. Hope this helps! ![]()

thank you . yes my sax player has the same as me and he had an procedure done for it, where they put a fine wire up through his leg into his heart and fixed it. it cost him 10.000 dollars during the procedure he died twice, he said his chest felt like a truck had hit him when they'd finnished.
they have offered me a tablet to stop it happening, but my dr said it was up to me as it dose have side effects if you take it all the time. so the hospital said it wasnt dangerous so now i just ride the attacks out, but somtimes it takes 3 hours for my heart to stop jumping through my back, in a very unpredictable manner, (flip flops) but this epi thing hasnt been diagnosed yet, but doc thinks its seizure due to whatever??? i dont know. i was just wondering if the s/tach was commen with seizure or not. thankyou so much |

I don't know if it's common, but I get S-Tach if I have
seizures, and if I go status (back-to-back), sometimes PACS show up, and if it's a bad hit of seizures, my S-Tach will really soar, but other than that ... I'm fine. The only reason why I have a Cardiologist is for another reason unrelated to Epilepsy.
