Hi Scared New Mom,

Thank you for your kind words. I did want to let you know that if you like nuts of any kind you may find that they will help you. I found out that any type of nut has progesterone oil in them and when my hormones were out of whack as you mentioned I started to eat lightly salted almonds and believe it or not it reduced my sz.
Another thing you can buy in natural food stores in Natural Progesterone Cream you can put in on your skin 5 days before your cycle and it helps increase the progesterone level in you body which in turn calms the nerves. Natural progesterone is made from wild yams and peanut oil so if you are allgeric to either of these foods do not use it.
One other thing that can sometimes trigger sz. for some people is when a low pressure in the weather is going to happen. Often I will have sz. a day or 2 before any bad weather hits and that's because the barometric pressure is low and even though we may not realize it the air is heavier and that in turn can effect a persons hormones and trigger sz. If you keep track of your sz. take note if on any days that you have a sz. the weather is bad. I wish you the best of luck and May God Bless You!
Sue

scared new mom,

There are a great number of prescribtion medicine neuros will prescribe for you. What may help one patient may not help another. One medicine the neuro gave me I had to stop, because it would give some bad dealings. So it could take time to find out what is good for you. Hope this will help you out. My thoughts and prayers are with you.

Darlene
