In Remembrance
|
I can relate to this thread because, several years ago, I was heating up
some leftovers for lunch (in the microwave) and the next thing I know, I was in my bedroom and I couldn't remember leaving the kitchen! My forehead was sore and so was my chest, but I didn't know why. When I walked back into the kitchen, the table was knocked sideways. Instead of being like this: _ it was like this: /. That's when I realized I'd had a seizure. It must have happened as soon as I closed the door to the microwave, because, when I opened it, the bowl was still there. Now, just try to picture this: I had a grand mal seizure, fell on top of the kitchen table, got up, and walked into my bedroom. I don't remember any of this! If I had been cooking something on the stove, I could have burned the house down! Between epilepsy and my spinal problems, that's why I tend to use a lot of frozen microwave dishes, because I never know what's going to happen and I don't want to take any chances.JMO
