Hi all. Was wondering if anyone has tried yoga to help keep the muscle loose and limber. I've read it also helps with some of the pain. If anyone has, can you make a suggestion of a video or dvd I could use at home? I'm willing to try it if it helps. Thanks again.

Hi,
Well, I was amazed when the rheumatologist's only recommendation to me, after pronouncing that I did indeed have Fibromyalgia, was to do Yoga & Meditation & to not take ANY pharmaceutical drugs. I tried following a Hatha Yoga video here at home but it very quickly caused all kinds of nasty muscle pain & cramps. I was going to give it up but then I found Dru Yoga - it is a modern cross betwen Tai Chi & traditional yoga. It is basically a lot more flowing, keeping the joints soft, not tensed. I go to a class every couple of weeks & use a DVD & book for here at home as well. They are mainly UK based but I am sure there would be some teachers in the U.S. by now. Pru Quote:
