My chiro used it for my pain spots.
dx's a mix of Chronic RSI/TOS/CMP also some low back/sacroiliac pain at times had a bout of plantar fasciitis for a year too If/when the price of LLLT comes down - I do plan to buy one, it worked great for my pain areas. 20 sec or so per tx on my elbow, wrist, shoulder, foot, low back..... no more pain.. I don't know how you would use it for more of the all over fibro/CFS sx though.. It would take a long time to spot treat a whole body, unless you just tx'd the most problematic areas.
