Hi, just wanted to let you know there have been a few posts this past week about the fireworks and their effects over on the
TBI/PCS Forum You could run a search there for fireworks and also there are some older threads about noise cancelling headphones that might be of help. Many of us are very sensitive to sounds and light so it's a topic that comes up a lot. take care. |

You're not insane, I am also very noise sensitive, but not all noises bother me. I have a neighbor that works on his car, then sits in there and rev, rev, REV! Makes me want to scream. Other things too, like too many people talking at once. I'd go with the headphones.

I'm also very noise sensitive since my facial pain started. I work in a school and had to get a noise meter to tell the kids when they're getting too loud because they seem loud to me all day every day.

hi bddouglas. i am also very sensitive to loud noises and bright lights. they cause me more pain. i have rsd as well as fibromylagia so i don't know which one is causing this to happen, but i do know that rsd causes this as well. i'm not as well educated on fibromyalgia though. since i got rsd first i have done more research on it and have lived with its affects on me longer, but i know that fibro is also very painful just in different ways. hope you feel better soon. soft hugs.
