Nope. I love barbecue, but it's too much work, lugging the food in and out, up and down the stairs, etc.

Yes, sort of. It's so old I can't access the internet with it, but I use it for word processing. Take it with me when I go away and want to write poetry, stories, letters, etc.

Yes, indeed! When my son was younger, we'd do the bird-a-thon. I sit here with my binoculars checking out the ducks, hawks, songbirds, etc.

What kinds of birds live near you?

typical cardinals waxwings nut hatches warbblers orioles robins cickadees 4 diff wood peckers northern flickes sap suckers finches about 7 or diff types of sparrows noisy blue jays and in fall we get humming birds turkey vultures gosse hawks red tails we have herons and egrets too, sure i missed a few


can you tell a bird by its call? or at least a number of them

I'm not very good at identifying by call. Just the common ones: white-throated sparrow, bluejays, loons, chickadees, goldfinches, mourning doves, etc. All the warblers sound the same to me, and I'm easily tricked.
