when you post if you look to the right , at least on a pc system not sure about mac's. at the right are smilys faces and the word MORE click on more, and open that small window, when that opens there are a ton of them on this new page that opens, then in your post click your cursor where you want the icon to be and then go back to the icon page click on icon and its should now be in your post in a written form (:WORD you can also type out the word associated with the icon, which u can see when you open the icon page, and you can always preview your post b4 u send it off in letter, it took me a week to figure it out too
