contemporary or classical

VERY funny smilies hc. http://neurotalk.psychcentral.com/im...ons/icon14.gif :D

I Love all kinds of music but lately I have been MORE into Classical. Love Gustav Holst's The Planet Suite. You can hear them in Midi form if you click >HERE< ;)

IF you listen which one do you like the best? :D { Mine is Uranus The Magician } :)

If you didn't who is your favourite classical composer?

houghchrst 07-23-2008 01:09 PM

Thanks for link, each selection seemed so appropriate for it's celestial body. Especially Mars, I am an Aries and am well aware of the force of Mars lol. Not my style though I did like Neptune the best and Mars. My 7 year old son loves this kind of music so I am saving it for him to listen to. Oh and here this is even better http://www.youtube.com/watch?v=51oHw...eature=related.

As for classical composers I do not have a particular favorite because they all have works that I love to listen to. Am listening to Schubert's Serenade right now. One of the nice perks of YouTube lol.

Okay let's see question time.

Wiix 07-24-2008 09:14 AM

No but I do cook for the squirrels. Sometimes. ;)

A group of them got my number and know I'm a pushover. All they have to do it congregate on my kitchen window ledge, look in with those big brown eyes and start banging on the window to get my attention and whatever I am cooking, I give them some. :D Usually when I am deep frying veggies. Then later to thank me they leave little yellow puddles and raisinettes all over the ledge.:p I just pour a big pitcher of hot water on it and we are ready for dinner, AGAIN. http://forum.rscnet.org/images/smilies/something.gif  http://forums.randi.org/images/smilies/b4.gif

what was the worst gift you have ever gotten (any occasion)

Wiix 07-24-2008 08:56 PM

Let's see. I was probably about 15 or 16 at the time. The guy I was going steady with was just the sweetest person in the world and GORGEOUS!! I mean classicly beautiful looking BUT he was shorter than me. His whole family was short so there was no chance he'd get any taller, he had tests. :o Anyway, he was Jewish and I am Protestant so he didn't celebrate Christmas of course so when he gave me a gift I was really shocked. I opened the gift in front of him, of course, and when I saw what it was, I was kind of horrified BUT I acted like it was really Great as not to hurt his feelings. I held it up and up against me. I really hated the thing. It was this Bright, Neon Red/Orange skirt and matching top with this big, clunky beaded ORANGE belt. I NEVER wore it. But I know it was the thought that counted.

I kind of wished I got to the grandfather question. I never knew any. :( I can't imagine what it'd be like to have a grandfather. Oh wait, maybe that was another thread. Yea, looking back here I see it was. Sorry.

Ummm, next question:

Do you ever feel left out of things? :o

houghchrst 07-27-2008 09:18 PM

yes but it is usually by choice due to my own insecurities and phobias
