Yes ,all the time when I'm alone, and loud!! But I don't think anyone else would enjoy me, as much as I do !!

Do you like to do jig-saw puzzles?

nana1 08-03-2008 10:47 PM

yeap i`ll sit up amd do them if not on computer.

are you going to play tomorrow

Wiix 08-04-2008 10:02 AM

Probably since I play quite a bit of online Scrabble. I am terrible at it and lose most of the time but I figure in time I will get better. If anyone wants to play I am usually around. PM me if you need help getting there. :D I got to a few different rooms so we'd have to agree on what room to meet up in. It's really easy getting there. Once you do it just save the link. ;) A game with 3 players goes a lot quicker too. Maybe we could form a group of people here who like to play that we can drag over there when we want a game or two. :D

What's your shoe size. :o:confused:

DM 08-04-2008 01:29 PM

6 1/2 or 7

Are you creeped out by SCARY movies?? I mean REALLY scary!

Wiix 08-04-2008 02:14 PM

I don't like scary movies. I get TOO scared. EEWWW...........!!!!!!

Wiix 08-16-2008 08:14 PM

Did it sound too complicated to get there? I probably should have told you that you have to have a Yahoo ID. :o But it's worth it. I'm still playin and I'm still losing Big Time. :p I just enjoy the game, it's not about winning or losing. ;)

Becky21 09-14-2008 10:34 PM

What is your favorite color of flowers?

Wiix 09-15-2008 03:41 PM

Are you anywhere near Louisville, Kentucky?

Darlene 09-16-2008 12:28 AM

no

Do you grow plants outside

bluenurse 09-16-2008 08:57 AM

yes

Do you have house plants?

Wiix 09-16-2008 09:35 AM

Yes, too many.

Do you have pets?

bluenurse 09-16-2008 09:37 AM

Yes a parrot

Hi Wiix!!

Do you have any pets?

Wiix 09-16-2008 09:59 AM

Not at the moment. My girl died a few weeks ago and I am looking for a new baby iguana. :( I lost my boy in May too so I am petless right now and not happy about it. I miss having some little creature to take care of. :o They bring us so much happiness and Love. My house is not a home without them.

Are you getting out in the sun everyday??

bluenurse 09-16-2008 10:47 AM

We have'nt had alot of sun here lately. I love being in the sun, it makes me feel good!

Do the iguanas interact with you? Can you handle them?

Wiix 09-16-2008 06:08 PM

You mean do we like play cards or cook together?? No. :D:p;) But they do interact to the best of their abilities. They know their names and will turn and look at me if I say it. I ask if they are hungry and they lick their lips, that means yes. If they ignore me that means no. You have to know how to read their behaviours. They like to look at television, especially golf or cartoons. And they like to look at pictures and love to look at themselves for hours in a mirror. So I have long mirrors here, some around where the floor meets the wall and some just where they like to lay in the sun.

Usually when I handle them, especially when they are very big, I use flannel baby blankets. I always have some kind of cloth between them and my skin. They had/have about 50 to 60 baby blankets and assorted towels in their favourite colours ie; Different shades of green, tan, brown, orange etc. You can't have strong, motled patterns around them or they freak out. It's an instinctual thing, it means a threat to them so everything has to be a solid colour or a very pale design.

Once I had on a long, black dresss with tiny rosebuds all over it. My male attacked me and gave me quite a bad bite. The dress went to Goodwill that next day. He couldn't even SEE me carrying it or he chased me.

BUT there are times they are very loving and sweet. Those are worth it all.

Would you ever consider getting an iguana??

lor 09-16-2008 06:35 PM

Do you mean Me, Literally? My son would love to but my DH would say no. I really don't care...if my son takes good care of it. (But I don't think we will cuz my DH has more say in what goes on around here, than my son.)

Whats your favorite old 1/2 hr. comedy show (such as Lucy, MASH or Home Improvement)

Wiix 09-17-2008 07:38 AM

MTM

Since you have been ON computer, what's the longest time you have tried to stay off?

bluenurse 09-17-2008 09:52 AM

a day

Do you do buy fruits and vegtables at the supermarket, or a farmers market?

Wiix 09-17-2008 10:13 AM

I go Farmer's Market during the Summer and Fall on occassion but mostly at the Supermarket. Also we have free give a ways here of cases of gleaned fruits and veggies. Some farmers, after they harvest, allow anyone to go into the fields and take what they can find. I think that's a good thing. Especially for people having a hard time and have a family.

Whenever I come across free cases I make sauces and freeze it. Free peppers, I cut up the peppers then freeze them even onions. Just rough cut then I chop when I use them in small amounts.

Are you a charitable person??

bluenurse 09-17-2008 11:07 AM

I would say yes, I do contribute to what I think are worthy causes, but I should volunteer more of my time for good causes. I volunteered alot when I was younger. The idea of allowing people to collect produce after the harvest is a great thing. I don't think anyone does that around here.

Do you volunteer for any programs in your community?

Wiix 09-17-2008 10:01 PM

Yes but the donations are down so much there isn't much to give out AND the electric bill is so high I think they are going to have to close their doors, it's well over $60,000. in arrears. I tried to start a "Pennies from Heaven" program but no one was interested. It's a shame too since this place does SO much for the community and during these really hard times they need MORE help. I mean financially. I wish I had it to give them. :(

And what did we have for dinner this evening?? ;)

Darlene 09-18-2008 01:23 AM

Taco Salad

What are your plans or this week-end?

Wiix 09-18-2008 03:10 PM

IF it's nice and sunny and warm which it's supposed to be I'll probably be at the lake both days. I have to milk this Summer for all the sun I can get. It's a long, cold Winter up North here. If it's not I will probably just get some movies and do some cleaning or laundry or both.

And you?? :D

bluenurse 09-18-2008 09:16 PM

Well , so far my dance card is empty, so I probably just putt around in the back yard.

Do you live close to the lake?

weegot5kiz 09-19-2008 01:55 AM

KarenMarie 09-19-2008 05:53 PM

Wiix 09-19-2008 10:19 PM

Can you pinpoint ONE event/choice/decision in your life that if you could do it over your life would have turned out SO much better/different??

I can but then the question comes in to play would I still be the person married to the same person that I am if I had made a different choice in life? Don't we all go through good times and bad for a reson?

weegot5kiz 09-20-2008 02:00 AM

Becky21 09-20-2008 02:20 AM

KarenMarie 09-20-2008 09:29 AM

What did you do in your miss-spent youth that your parents never had an inkling of ??

AHH, but here's the rub. Some people aren't meant to be married. I for one. The most misery I ever experienced was while married. I have been single now for 20 years. It took a while to get over all the damage done to me but I am on the mend now. Being locked in with people who are just draining everypart of your being is NOT fun. Your best is never enough yet you continue to keep on trying. It didn't occur to me while married that MAYBE I was in the wrong environment. We all only get one life and if you just hand it over to people who use you like a Kleenex, HOW is that good for you? I feel like I accomplished NOTHING I was meant to so now I am just working with what I have left. :(

lor 09-20-2008 06:40 PM

Ummm...I smoked pot once. I was in my teens & thought it would make me look cool ... peire(sp) pressure.  :(

Do you regularly watch a certain soap opera?

bluenurse 09-20-2008 07:04 PM

I did when my kids were small, watched while they napped. I don't now.

Are you hooked on a soap?
