Hi...My name is Kayleen! I have a severe problem with excessive sweating. Not just sweaty palms and feet........all over!

I don't even have to be hot to be sweating! I can be in a perfectly cool room where no one else is sweating.........I can just be sitting and I begin to sweat so bad that my clothes become soaked......as well as my hair.......and the sweat will actually drip off my forehead! It is uncomfortable to say the least....but it is sooo embarassing! Especially when it happens in church! I teach the Pre - K class and when the parents either drop them off or pick them up it is embarassing to be sweating when none of my other co-teachers r!

The other day I was at the mall....it was totally cool......I was standing looking at a rack of clothes and I began to sweat so bad that my hair and shirt were soaked!

I have hypothyroidism (underactive thyroid) and I take meds 4 that......my levels r fine. They have checked and rechecked my hormones and I am not perimenopausal or menopausal.

I take 1 psych med that says I need to limit my exposure to the sun......it can cause severe sunburn and make me more suceptible to heat exhaustion/stroke. I am never out in the sun! I only go from the house to the car to the chiurch, etc!

This even happens in the winter! When I am in places where there is no heat on and I have short sleeve shirts on! When I take a shower, I get out and 5 or 10 minutes later it is like I never took one........I am sweating to death!

Any suggestions? Right now as I type this I am in the car on the way to the Cleveland Clinic to see an endocrinologist. I need some answers. I can't live like this!
